Howdy Bloggers and Bloggetts! Easter is upon us ~ looking forward to a wonderful weekend! We did get nailed with a Winter Blizzard and received over 24 inches of snow (actually 32 inches) in a day and half. We even made CNN news ~ Woot!! *lol* Zach got his snowday, actually 2 days ~ as the schools were closed. We are still expected to get another 18 inches ~ and the wind is so cold blowing off of Lake Superior. (who angered the Lake?!) Ugggggg! When I look out my window it seems like mid January instead of April!! I kinda liked the comment from my friend Plum ~ who suggested that we should not color the Easter eggs.....and just toss them into the snow to find ~ *Bawhahahaha*!! :) Could just stand in the Drive-Way and toss them this way and that! Suggestion for a movie to rent this weekend to watch with your family ~ Flicka ~ with Tim McGraw. Really is a great movie, touches the heart and sends a great message. (I even bawled like a baby!) Woot! **Update** I swear it feels like I have aged eons since last night. Late last night, (April 6th) ♥I received word that my sons company in Iraq and taken on hostile activity and that 4 were injured and 1 killed. ♥It was a long night and morning of trying to find out information and waiting on notification♥. ♥Mitchell's roommates wife received a call that her husband had been wounded and ususally Mitch is with him ~ this sent pure fear into my heart. ♥Officially I have not heard from Mitch or that he is ok ~ just what I hear from others, I so can't wait to talk to him. ♥The thoughts that went thru my head last night, the pacing the floor, the tears, the stress ~ well one can say I have a few new gray hairs this morning. ♥Thank you all for your support, questions, thoughts, prayers ~ and please continue this for all the troops and their families. **Latest News** Finally received a message from ♥Mitch that he is ok ~ but he lost a close buddy in battle. John Mayer All I Need to Know I learned from the Easter Bunny! Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Walk softly and carry a big carrot. Everyone needs a friend who is all ears. There's no such thing as too much candy. All work and no play can make you a basket case. A cute little tail attracts a lot of attention. Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day. Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits. Some body parts should be floppy. Keep you paws off other people's jellybeans. Good things come in small-sugarcoated packages. The grass is greener in someone else's basket. An Easter bonnet can tame even the wildest hare. To show your true colors you have to come out of the shell. The best things in life are still sweet and gooey. No matter how mature and sophisticated you may become...you never outgrow your need for chocolate bunnies
