Howdy fellow bloggers and bloggets ~

Still patiently awaiting Spring ~ tis tired of the 5 foot snowbanks outside! Kids have been sick with cold after cold ~ ack ~ and the last one was a doozy getting all of us sick! But we are all better now and just waiting for this snow to melt ~ hopefully soon. I'm ready to take off the "storm windows" and put on the "screens" ~ you can only do so much winter before going stir crazy!! Still have high temps of 20's ~ 30's during the day we so need the 50's and 60's!!

Mitch left last night for Kansas ~ Fort Riley. He was excited to continue on his new journey, he made alot of good buddies in basic training and can't wait to reconnect with them in Kansas. It was wonderful having him home for the past 3 weeks. He and a buddy went around and shoveled off roofs ~ what a heck of a job that was! It is funny when your children are finally grown and you see them as adults ~ you can't help but have flash backs to when they were so little. Mitch will soon be getting new orders ~ he might be going to Africa, Ireland, Germany etc...hopefully not Iraq. I will keep you updated.

Looking forward to fixing up the other house and getting it on the market, tho I don't look forward to going thru all the stuff over there! It is amazing how you forget you have some stuff until you find it and go ~ Wow ~ this is soooo cool! *hee hee* Finished the painting job in Jessica's room, turned out so adorable! I need to get somewhere where there is a walmart or target to finish it off ~ tis a bummer they are like 2 hours away ~ you have to plan your whole day just to go shopping.
