Most of you know that my oldest son Mitchell is in the Army and serving our country proudly. Today is a day of remembering, honoring ~ those who fight to keep us free everyday. Whether you agree with the war or not, the young men and women serving should always be respected, cheered, praised, & honored ~ for they are doing their duty they promised to this country. So on this special day I not only honor my son, but my Father, who was in the Air Force and served in the Korean War, & my ex husband who served in the first Iraq war. I miss you Pop's!

Mitch has received orders that they will be deployed to Iraq on February 17th. In my heart it terrifies me, but I realize I need to let him go and live his life. In my heart of hearts ~ I'm hoping that the past elections cause him to be deployed elsewhere ~ maybe Darfur where the people there truly need aid.

I am blessed that I will be able to spend the Christmas holiday with Mitchell ~ he will be coming home December 16th ~ January 5th. We are all heading to my brother Mike's home for a big Holiday celebration ~ to laugh, party, share memories & enjoy our lives. Please take a moment and say a prayer for all those in the military and their families.

Huggles and God Bless~Bren~
