Howdy Bloggers and Bloggetts!!

It's that time again ~ spring breezes start turning warmer, flowers start blooming, and love birds tease, twirl and flirt around each other. Have you ever had one of those days where there is so much chaos going on, kids everywhere, supper cookin, t/v's blaring, and a baby hanging off your leg ~ and you happen to look up and catch your babe leaning backagainst the washer with his arms crossed, this lopsided, sexy grin with a raised eyebrow and a come hither look? Is that a tease or what? *lol* Then hours go by as this game of tease and flirt slowly builds until you can barely stand it?

I watch the love birds outside, flirting, teasing ~ flying around and around each other in the long known mating dance and I can't help but think of my Patrick. We do this all the time. He calls me on his lunch hour, to tease, to laugh, to say I have a sexy voice on the phone and to simply say ~ he loves and misses me. I keep waiting for the mundane day to day life of married people to hit us ~ but it simply hasn't. We still flirt with each other, we enjoy being in each others company, we miss each other during the day. People keep telling us give it a few more years, but I believe it will only get better ~ if that is possible. We both had marriages that lasted 15 yrs, we know where we made the mistakes. Relationships have to be worked on, flirted with, teased with ~ every day. We have now been together for over 3 years and dating for 6 ~ it seems like just yesterday when we first met in New York City at the Port Authority and it all began.

I now truly understand the difference between making love and having sex. Don't get me wrong ~ sometimes you just get so crazed that wild, passionate, hot sex is a good thing ~ but my oh my, when you make love to someone that touches your soul ~ it is beyond words. When making love takes you to such heights that you laugh, then cry and you have no idea why ~ my oh my. When a simple touch, look, kiss makes your body quiver like it has never been touched before ~ my oh my ~ you know you have found your soulmate.

I wish all could find this in their lives, it just makes everything right in your world when you do. Even when your having a hard day, or something goes wrong ~ you always know you have that soft place to fall. Why did I write this blog today? It all started with this look . . . .
